Cicada International Limited is a medium-scale charity established in 2009. Their main activity is registered as cultural awareness primarily serving adults - aged 25 to under 65 aboriginal and torres strait islander people people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background people in rural/regional/remote communities females males.

We delivered a National awards program which included a series of forums, a key note address, showcase event and networking opportunities to recognise the value and contribution of Indigenous and culturally diverse, LGBTQ women across areas of the Australian music industry. We created opportunities for First Nations women living in remote and regional Australia to participate across the entire program and we initiated a round table event in far north QLD. We developed a cultural exchange program with Yolngu from East Arnhem Land and Bundjalung in Northern NSW.
