The Illawarra Grammar School Foundation Limited
The Illawarra Grammar School Foundation Limited is a small-scale charity established in 1986. Their main activity is registered as education primarily serving youth - 15 to under 25 aboriginal and torres strait islander people migrants, refugees or asylum seekers people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background financially disadvantaged people.
The Foundation has set clear and achievable goals that benefit a current students of TIGS and future students generations to come. In 2019 the provision of funds for the Reverend Richard Bosanquet Scholarship and the Liney Music Scholarship were provided to two Senior School Students who would not normally be able to experience a TIGS Education or Private Music Tuition due to financial limitations. These funds enable the students to flourish within the Schools rich and diverse learning environment. TIGS Foundation assists disadvantaged students to attend TIGS and pursue their dreams so they may develop their talent both academically and artistically to be the best they can be. The scholarship is named after our first Headmaster, Reverend Richard Bosanquet.
