We are one of the leading providers of first aid and mental health training in Australia. In addition, we distribute first aid supplies and equipment, provide high-level medical services at workplaces and public areas, as well as providing a range of public health safety services at events across the state. Our members work in communities right across NSW to help keep people safe, build more resilient communities and save more lives. Last year, we provided more than 107,929 hours of support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and over 23,500 hours during the 2019-20 bushfires. As a registered Social Trader, customers know that by choosing to work with St John (NSW), they are actively helping to create positive social outcomes. The surplus from our commercial activities were invested back into our community programs enabling us to provide: Free education programs to more than 4,500 school students across the state Training and equipment our volunteers needed to be ready in the event of any emergency. A safe and supportive environment for over 1,000 young people to learn about first aid and the skills to become leaders within their communities.
