Child And Family Welfare Association Of Sa Inc

Also known as “CAFWA-SA” and “Child and Family Focus SA”, Child And Family Welfare Association Of Sa Inc is a medium-scale charity established in 1990. Their main activity is registered as civic and advocacy activities primarily serving families.

Child and Family Focus SA (CAFFSA) is the South Australian peak body for child and family well-being. Our vision is that all children have the opportunity to grow, flourish and reach their fullest potential. We do this by supporting an inclusive community where all children, young people and families are secure, safe and valued. The purpose of CAFFSA is to represent the interests of children, young people and their families as well as the not-for-profit, non-government organisations providing prevention, early intervention, family support and out of home care services. Child and Family Focus SA (CAFFSA) is also the principle industry association supporting those not-for-profit organisations who provide various forms of prevention and early intervention, family support, out of home care [including foster care and residential care], and other child protection and child safety services. We represent small, medium and large community service organisations across South Australia in metropolitan and country locations, and act in the interests of children, young people and their families.
